Learning objectives
- To make students aware of the need for an engineer, both in design and production, to take into account the risk of failure in the study of processes or systems, to assess the nature and criticality of the hazards generated, to define ways of limiting risks or containing hazards to an acceptable level.
- To raise students' awareness of a comprehensive quality approach in which the Sûreté de fonctionnement occupies a particularly important place, and where the satisfaction of the technical requirements must be added to the satisfaction of the requirements of society.
Program
- Introduction to Operating Safety (SdF): philosophy, challenges, place of SdF in industrial systems.
- Stock management tools and analysis: Pareto analysis, ABC analysis. Examples.
- Reliability diagrams, Fault shafts, relationship between the two. Examples.
- Cause Trees and Trees of Events. Examples.
- Availability of production systems. Examples.
- APR and AMDEC. Examples.
Assessment
Final review.
