Learning objectives
The purpose of the module is to provide students with a good knowledge of design patterns. Given the extent and number of existing bosses, the course will focus on the best known and review different case studies to learn how to choose a boss according to needs. These patterns are standard solutions for general architectural and software design problems. For example, a well-known pattern is the MVC model, widely used in IHM design. The course will be structured in a more conceptual part, and will study the large classes of existing bosses. They will be presented in UML. The course will then look at design patterns in JAVA.
